Genie began working as an insurance agent for Connaway & Associates Equine Insurance Services, Inc. in 1998.
She operates Oak Haven Farm Horse Transportation with her husband Rick, shipping horses across North America with four 15-horse tractor trailers.  Together, they own and operate Oak Haven Farm in Folsom, LA, a facility specializing in the showing and training of hunters and jumpers.

Competitor

Genie competes in Hunters and Jumpers on the National Level. She has been Champion at most major hunter/jumper shows on the east coast including Harrisburg, Washington International and the National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden.
